Wednesday I wasted away in and out of consciousness. I was really tired and I think my semi-busy days off finally is taking a toll on me. I wish I slept more, but I feel like I waste away my days when all I do is sleep. On Wednesday, I decided to finally clean my bathroom. It hasn’t been cleaned since I got here and I’m pretty sure the foreign teacher that was living in my apartment before me didn’t clean it either. Cleaning the sink was easy, but cleaning the toilet was time consuming because it was dirty. BUT, now my bathroom sparkles, smells good and is free of all the build up that accumulated. I managed to steal a couple hours nap time as well when I finished cleaning the bathroom.
I didn’t leave my apartment at all yesterday until 9:30 p.m. when I headed to my friend Rodney’s going away party because he’s heading home to Canada today.

Rodney and I at his going away dinner together :(

Rodney decided to bring out his cigar and fireworks for his going away party.
We had dinner at a chicken galbi restaurant where we also enjoyed some beers and sojus. We ended up hanging out at the restaurant for about 2 hours before we headed to the park, so Rodney and Jason could light off some fireworks. The park stay lasted an hour or so before we headed to noraebang to end the night off with some music and drinks because we all know Koreans love their karaokee, what better way to end your time in Korea than with noraebang.

Me giving Rodney his good-bye kiss he had been longing for :)

James, Alex, Jason, Dave, Sam and Rodney singing Green Days, Good Riddance (Time of your Life)...the song seemed fitting for the occassion.

John, Sam, James and I belting out a tune at the noraebang. It becomes quite addicting oncve you get there and start singing.
Rodney and Jason didn't hang out at the noraebang to long because they wanted to get some sleep before their flight. They sang a few songs, enjoyed some beers and the company of their friends before calling it a night.

A drinking night in Korea wouldn't end right if some sort of alcohol didn't make its way onto your body. Soju is not the best smelling or tasting alcohol, so this stain from soju was a bit unbearable for me.
Omce our noraebang time expired we all headed out and ended up at McDonald's where we ended our night with some McDonald’s cheeseburgers before parting ways around 4:00 a.m. Let's just say I didn't go to bed until way later than I had planned, like 5:30 a.m. way later, but it was so worth it to see Rodney before he left.

Rodney and I share one last embrace before he leaves us in Korea to go back home to Canada. I will miss him so much...See You Later Rodney!!
