Another Long Weekend Arrives!

This past week, since returning from Cambodia has gone by relatively quickly. Summer camps at my school went really well and I went out for dinner with friends pretty much every night this week. Usually, I have a fully stocked fridge, but for the past couple of weeks I have been really lazy in getting to the market and grocery store to buy food. Plus, it's so super cheap to eat out here that it's almost more worth it to eat out then buy fruits and vegetables. Since this week was a short week because of Independence day on Friday Missy and I decided to head for dinner at T.G.I.Fridays on Thursday night. Mary Anne met us there later and then we waited for a new girl, Carolina to come and meet us, so we could go for some drinks. Thursday was technically the start of the weekend for us, so that is why we decided to make it a drinking night.
Once Carolina showed up we headed to the main square at the Arts Center to look for a place to drink. Missy wanted to go to this place called Garten Bier because they sell huge beers and she wanted to try them. Well, she had no idea where the bar was, so we spent a good 15 minutes wandering aimlessly through the square before we decided to call a friend who knew it's location. I was the one who had to talk to him because I'm the only one with any sense of direction. It took me about 10 minutes to find it and when we did we settled in and ordered the biggest size beer you could, which I think was like 3 litres or something.
We spent quite a while at Garten Bier and Missy and I didn't even finish our beers because they were just so BIG and we weren't feeling the taste of beer. Mary Anne wanted some soju and Carolina had yet to try it, so we did some soju shots, which are disgusting and require chasers, but Carolina was so strong she didn't even need the chaser. YIKES!
When we were ready to leave we headed to McDonalds for some cheeseburgers and then Mary Anne, Missy and Carolina headed home together in a cab and I headed back to Garten Bier because we bumped into Tracy and friends when we were leaving and I was going to stay and hang out with them, but I got tired and didn't want to stay out, so I grabbed a cab and headed home.
