Thursday was my last day off before school started for the second semester. I had a BIG day planned, but since I was out drinking and saying good-bye to Rodney and didn't get to bed until the wee hours of the morning I ended up sleeping most of the day away. When I did finally wake-up I spent most of the day just chilling at home before I went for dinner with Shana, Val, Missy and some other friends. We ate some Chinese food and drank some beers. Once we finished dinner the girls were ready to go, so we stopped at the convenience store and bought some drinks and headed to a noraebang where we spent a good portion of the night. I didn't want to be out too late because I was starting back at school on Friday morning, so I left just after 11:00 p.m.
Friday morning and back to school came sooner than I wanted it to, but I had no classes all day, so I couldn't complain. I spent a good part of the morning moving all my stuff from the 6th grade office down to the newly renovated English Zone where I will be teaching the English classes for the rest of the year. I had to do some cleaning and I got a printer, phone and speakers installed. I spent the entire day in the office watching Sex and the City. My day was so slow and boring I watched 12 episodes of Sex and the City. I also told Jiny I no longer want to eat school lunches, so I will be saving that money for buying food to make my own school lunches. She couldn't understand why I didn't want the school lunches anymore and just told her I'm going through a lifestyle change and don't want them, so now I enjoy lunch alone in the comfort of my own room. I also got to meet the new grade 3 and grade 4 English teachers that will be taking over this week. They are young and shy, but I think they'll be good. In the afternoon a bunch of grade 6 students came in and cleaned the entire English Zone, so that was nice and throughout the day the principal kept coming and going from the English Zone telling the renovaters what still needed to be done. A bit annoying, but it will be worth it in the end.
Friday night led to a bunch of drinking, laughter, dancing and fun. I had dinner with Tracy, Nick and Holly and then Nick and I headed into Bupyeong together to get the evening festivities started. We parted ways when we arrived in Bupyeong because I was heading to Missy's to hang out with the girls. I polished off a bottle of wine before I left Missy's.
Missy owns some rather BIG pairs of sunglasses, so we obviously needed to wear them for a picture.
Missy owns a lot of belts, so the girls decided to put the belts on and pose for a picture. Plus, alcohol may have been consumed adding to the craziness. All of these girls except Andrea and Mary Anne leave on Friday :( (Karen, Andrea, Missy, Katy, Mary Anne).
Once we were ready to leave Missy's and head out to the streets of Bupyeong we headed over to Goose Goose to have some drinks and visit with the rest of the foreign teachers that were there celebrating Jenny's birthday and saying good-byes.
It was Jenny's birthday was on Friday night, so she hosted a party. She also leaves Korea on Friday, so she combined her birthday with her going away party.
Then it was time to head to the notorious G7 for more drinking and dancing. We all know what happens when the party moves to G7, a long night and early morning, but that is a typical Friday night in Incheon.
Bri and I at G7. She straightened her hair and it looks fabulous!

When I got to G7 these two adorable Korean girls were just sitting on the couch chilling, so I invited them to dance and hang out with us. They obliged and now they will be returning to G7 every Friday. We've made them regulars :)
Shana is loads of fun and so are the cranberry vodkas I order at G7. I will really miss this girl when she leaves us next weekend.
Shana, Missy and I after much alcohol was consumed!
Lisa is my favorite person in the whole world, so when she came to party with me at G7 on Friday I was ecstatic. Here we are doing classic Korean poses.
Shana, Beth and I clearly were having way too much fun...and Natasha's finger up Beth's nose.
When G7 finally closed for the night at 5:30 a.m. Lisa and I decided to go and grab some food because we were drunk and hungry. We found a place right around the corner from G7 where we ate bone soup (I always forget the Korean name of it). It is the so delicious and was the perfect meal at 6:00 a.m. It kept me full all day. When we finally decided to call it a night/morning we took the bus home together and then parted ways when we got to my stop.
