Exhausting Weekend!
Going to bed at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning because you were still awake from Friday night is not a good idea. I wasted the entire day away sleeping. I was suppose to go into Seoul for the Fringe Festival with some friends, but was to dead to move, so I missed out on that. When I did wake up it was briefly to eat breakfast, check face book and go to the bathroom. When I finally realized I could hardly move my body and keep my eyes open I went back to sleep. I ended up sleeping until 7:00 p.m. before meeting Tracy, Holly and Sophie for some Shabu Shabu and drinks. After we finished dinner Tracy, Holly and I headed to noraebang where we sang duets all night for just over an hour. Once we finished singing we met up with Peter and Joe and headed to Beer Story for a few drinks before Tracy and I called it a night. I had to be up at early to meet a friend, so I didn't want a late night.
After I met up with my friend this morning I headed to lunch in Bupyeong with Carolina. We hadn't seen each other in days, so it was nice to hang out. We went to First Nepal for some butter chicken and nan bread. Afterward, we went shopping in the Bupyeong Underground. I ended up buying loads of clothes, a pair of sunglasses and some accessories. Considering how much stuff I purchased I don't think I spent more than $50-$60. When we were spent from shopping we ended our day together with some delicious ice flakes from Canmore. Carolina had never been, so she really enjoyed it.
When I got home I took a nap before meeting up with Lisa for some dinner. We decided on dukgalbi, which is so delicious. After dinner we bumped into Nicole and Lindsay at Mad Max. We didn't stay to hang out because we were on our way to E-Mart, so I could buy some groceries to make school lunches with. I'm so glad Lisa is in my life because she is Korean, amazing and a great friend. She volunteered to come with me to E-Mart and help me shop. She even helped me carry my bag. On the cab ride home from E-Mart I had the friendliest cab driver and he actually spoke English to me. He kept asking me if he was saying his English sentences right. I thought it was so cute and funny because he was loving every second of it. It was a great end to my Sunday night.
