Another Weekend Passes Us By!

I spent most of Saturday wide awake and chilling out at home with Rudy and Marco. They both headed back to Seoul early afternoon. I met up with Carolina for dinner at Outback Steakhouse before we headed to the Incheon United soccer game. We met up with a lot of our foreign friends at the game. It was Carolina's first soccer game, which was exciting, especially since Incheon won 2-1.
Carolina and I at the Incheon soccer game on Saturday night.
When the game ended one of our English friends, Michael Jackson, yes that is his actual name, streaked onto the soccer field. Well, actually he had his Italian styled boxers on and they were tanned coloured, so it looked like he was naked, but he wasn't. He managed to run around the field and 1/4 of the way around the track before security came and caught him. They didn't use force on him, which is the toatl opposite of back home and they didn't arrest him either.

This is Michael Jackson running away from one of the security guards who he almost ran away from.

The one security guard gave him his suit jacket to cover up while being escorted off the field. The rowdy Koreans in the Incheon supporter section enjoyed the show, which is funny because it's not Korean like at all. They were taking pictures, clapping and cheering for MJ the entire time he was on the field. He ended up getting let go scot free, which was awesome and he made for some great entertainment at the end of the soccer match. After the soccer game ended Nicole, Carolina, Nick and I left together, but we seperated at the train station to head in opposite directions. Nicole and I went back to Yeonsu to chill out and have some drinks close to home. On the way to meet up with Lindsay we stopped outside a store to watch the end of the Korea vs. Cuba gold medal baseball game. It was pretty awesome to stand in the crowd of Koreans of the street and watch them beat Cuba. Once the basebll game ended we headed to Beer Story to meet up with Lindsay, but it was packed (because of the baseball game), so we headed to Mad Max where we had some beers, got hit on by Koreans of all ages, played the jukebox like it was going out of style and got a free plate of nachos, "service" for being such good customers. I ended up staying out way longer than I wanted to because I had to be up early Sunday morning to meet with a friend. Good thing I didn't get drunk because Sunday morning came way too soon. Sunday I was up at the crack of dawn to head to the Arts Center area to hang out with a friend. We just had some together and then parted ways. I came straight home and decided a nap was order if I was going to function at all. Since it was Carolina's birthday on Monday she decided she wanted her birthday Sunday night, so Tracy and I met up early to buy her a cake and party hat from Paris Baguette and then we headed to Beer Story for a drink while we waited for her to get to Yeonsu.

Carolina and I at Beer Story before we headed to dinner.
We were suppose to have ribs for dinner, but since it was just the three of us and ribs were expensive she decided galbi would be just as good. Tracy and I took her to our delicious galbi restaurant and she loved it. When we were finished eating dinner we headed back to Beer Story for some more drinks and waited for some more friends to meet us. When they all finally came to join us we sang Carolina ‘Happy Birthday’ and she served us each some cake.
This is the yummy chocolate cake Tracy and I bought for Carolina.
Carolina, Peter and Joe enjoying the evening festivites. Carolina rocks the birthday hat.
Tracy and Tiffany enjoying the evening at Carolina's birthday party. Tracy turned the birthday hat into a festive hat by wearing it backwards.
We tried taking her to US66 for the ‘birthday shot’, but they were closed, so we went to Bubble City instead and had some soju cocktails and watched the Olympics.

Carolina and I at Bubble City just before we called it a night. Happy Birthday Girl!!

Carolina left as soon as we finished the drinks at Bubble City, while Joe, Peter, Sophie, Marielle and I headed to the park to chill out and drink some more. Since I don’t have to go to school for the next 4 days because my principal gave me permission not too I stayed out late drinking and chilling. If you don’t hear from me on my blog for the next few days it’s because I’m enjoying my days off and staying busy, so I don’t waste them away sleeping.
