This is the entrance to Angkor Wat, you can see it behind me and my pink poncho. Not only were we tired and sweaty, but it decided to pour rain for a couple minutes just before we were about to enter the temples.
Just a beautiful view of Angkor Wat. The trees and landscape surrounding it add to it's beauty.
Just a small temple that is part of Angkor Wat.
I have to throw a few pictures with me in them, so you actually believe I was there :)
Here is the main temple of Angkor Thom called, Bayon. You can see how beautiful the weather was for us.
I took the time to take a cheesy photo while touring through Bayon. Eveyone needs at least one cheesy photo while on vacation.
I think the Buddha heads that you can see carved into the temples are absolutely astounding.
I loved this Buddha prayer/blessing set-up, so I took a picture. People can give money or other offerings and pray as well. There were many of these set-up throughout each temple.
Once we got to hot and tired to do anymore of Angkor Wat we called it a day and biked home. We only got lost once on the way home, which did not help with out sore asses. That night we headed into town to eat dinner and watch traditional Cambodian dances.

This is an Aspara dancer, which is the name of Cambodians traditional dance.
Here is another form of traditional Aspara dancing.
Here I am enjoying the most delicious slushy drink, with alcohol of course, since moving to Asia.
Missy, Me and Ari waiting for our drinks at Angkor What? bar.
