English Plaza

Saturday afternoon I worked at an English Plaza, which was conveniently located a 5 minute walk from my house. My co-teacher, Enee and I were in charge of the Game tent, so I played Jeopardy with the students. The students ages ranged from kindergarten to grade 6, but the grade 3's and 4's were still the most fun to do the game with. They had the highest energy and were the most enjoyable to play the game with. I just chose random categories and asked random questions in each category. The students the thought the game was loads of fun and didn't want it to end.
The Plaza was from 2:30-5:30 and it turned out to be a lot of fun. The students for the most part were well behaved and they seemed to have a good time.
Teacher Julia was out in full force. These are grade 3 students.
The girl with the green headband and the boy with glasses next to her are both students of mine at my school. And, they are both super smart students.
This was definitely during the Music category and Big Bang was definitely the answer.
The grade 3's were well behaved during the game and they will forever be my favorite grade.
At the end of the Plaza we had to ask each grade 2 questions about what they learned during the Plaza. The students were highly energized and wanting to answer questions, if only they could be like that at school. I also got to hang out and chat with some other English teachers in the area.
