Sehun Gets Out For A Visit!!

Saturday we had planned on heading into Seoul to do some sightseeing and shopping, but Lauren was tired from drinking and was tired from drinking and being a tour guide, so we just slept in until about 3 in the afternoon. We had no definite plans for Saturday night, but Nicole and I found out that our friend Sehun got a day off from army duty to come visit, so we headed to guwol-dong, for night two, to meet up with him and his friend Dave. We headed to King Kong to get the night started. I really enjoy King Kong for two reasons, 1) they play K-pop songs on the BIG screen and 2) loads of HOT Korean boys for me to look at...hahaha! We drank soju and beer and played some drinking games.
Nicole and Sehun imitating his army life. They both look way too serious. Lauren and I at King Kong. Another successful night of no lazy eye for Lauren. Best buddies Dave and Sehun, who are both doing their mandatory military service right now.
Since, Lauren wasn’t drinking she had to do dares every time she lost. We started her off easy, but the more she lost the harder the dares the got. She was a very good sport.
She was dared to ask this table of 4 Korean guys for a cigarette. Out of all the guys in Korea that smoke, like 95% what are the chances that these 4 don't smoke?!?!
Sisterly love at King Kong and Lauren is turning more Korean as the days go on with the "Victory" sign.
After King Kong, Lauren was tired, so she wanted to head home, so I made sure she got in the cab safely and that the driver knew where to take her. Then I joined back up with Nicole, Dave and Sehun and we headed to Diana nightclub, so we could dance and drink some more. Sehun didn’t last more than 30 minutes at Diana before he faded and went home. It’s weird that it had been 2.5 months since he went to the army and I may not see him again for another 2-3 months. Dave, Nicole and I hung out at Diana for a few hours before I wanted to leave, so we headed to eat dulkgalbi as is guwol-dong 4:00 a.m. tradition. We drank more soju and beer and just chatted until Nicole fell asleep in the booth signaling it was time to go. That made for two very late nights/early mornings in a row. Sunday almost slipped away on us, but when we finally woke-up and got ready we decided to head to Myeong-dong in Seoul to do some shopping. Myeong-dong is the best place in Seoul for shopping and it has the most variety of Western stores, Korean brand stores and independent stores. This was only my second time there to shop and it was a very successful shopping trip. Lauren and I both got to experience the Forever 21 that just opened there last year. It was massive, four floors, and had some better stuff than back home. We wandered around and shopped for a few hours before we got tired and decided to call it a day, so we headed home. If travel time didn’t take so long we could have been home earlier than we were, but we still got home at a relatively decent hour.
