Lauren's Last Weekend In Korea :( :(

Last Friday Lauren came to my school for the last time to meet some of the grade 4's. I love the grade 4's because they are my old grade 3's, so we already get along great and they love to learn. After school Enee and Jiny took Lauren and I to a seafood buffet for dinner. Jiny brought her youngest daughter, who's English name is Julia. When we finished eating Lauren and I headed home to change and get ready to go out to Inha University with Nicole and Dave to meet up with some Korean friends of mine. We headed to a bar in that area where Chris met us. We decided we wanted soju, so after about an hour and a half we headed to a different bar where we could drink soju and play drinking games. Around 11:30 a couple of my friends left because they had midnight curfew, but a few more friends joined us including Nick Oakley who is back in Korea. Eventually, we ended up at a third and final bar before we called it a night around 6-6:30 a.m. Lauren and I had Saturday plans to head into Seoul early and do some last minute stuff before heading to Paul's birthday celebrations. However, late Friday nights mean sleeping in Saturdays, so we decided to sleep in and head into Seoul to Paul and Kristy's house with Duncan and Nicole later.

There weren't too many people at Paul's place when we arrived, so we took advantage of the food and chilled out before Lauren, Nick and I played bowling on the Wii. Eventually, the house filled up as more people arrived and it was a joint birthday party with another friend of Paul's. We hung out at Paul's until about 10:00p.m. before we all grabbed some cabs and heading to Hongdae for the rest of the birthday celebrations.
Lauren and Chris at Jane's Groove in Hongdae. It was Lauren's last night in Korea, so we had to go out with a BANG and Dance Party!! A night out wouldn't be complete without me taking a picture of myself, so here it is. This Korean guy passed out cold at the table beside ours. I obviously decided I wanted my picture taken with him. I was going to 'fake' pass out on him, but I didn't want to risk waking him. Duncan was passed the point of no return with alcohol consumption...It looks like he is going to lick my face, which at this point in the night would not have surprised me.
When we finished at Jane's Groove Paul and others wanted to get some food, so we headed to a galbi restaurant nearby where we ate and drank...more. When we finished eating, Nicole, Mike, Lauren and I shared a cab back to Incheon. We got really lucky with the cab we choose because the driver spoke fluent English, used the meter, and took us on a shortcut home. A cab ride that normally would have cost over 40,000 won only cost us 28,000 won. Plus, the driver was good company and he was funny. I only wish we had gotten his business card or phone number...
