The Start Of 2009!!

New Year's Day was a holiday, so I slept in and enjoyed sleeping off the hangover from the night before. When I finally woke-up for the day I texted Nicole because she had my glasses with her and I needed to see. She invited me to go have dinner and play pool, so naturally I had nothing better to do, so I went. We headed to Guwol-dong to meet up with Mike and Damien. Since, we were all starving we decided to eat first and I wanted galbi, so we went for galbi. After galbi we looked for a place to play pool, but all the ones we went to were full. We finally found a great pool hall called, Manhattans. It was dead and so nice inside. The best part was, they had a bar, so we could drink and play pool. We played pool and drank for 2 hours before we decided we needed a venue change. We opted for Rio's since it was close, we know Rio and it's cheap to drink. We played a few rounds of darts, danced to the K-pop tunes we played in the jukebox and had heart to hearts. When we finished at Rio's, Damien headed home, but Mike was hungry, so Nicole, Mike and I headed to Chicken and Beer for exactly that, chicken and beer. Nicole wanted to go to Diana club, so after we finished eating Mike headed home because he hates Diana and Nicole and I headed to Diana. It was a pretty busy night there, but I wasn't feeling in the mood for anymore drinking or dancing once we got there. Nicole was out of control with her dancing and she was really drunk, so once the waiter started feeling me up and speaking only Korean to me I knew it was time to go. Lucky me, my school also gave me Friday off as well, so I got to sleep of the drinks from the night before again. Only working two days during the week was awesome and definitely something I could get very use too. I didn't do anything at all Friday except when I left my house once, after 6:00 p.m. to buy some gifts for my orphanage visit Saturday and then came home. Once, I got back home I curled up in bed and watched some TV and just took it easy. It was nice doing nothing and I mean nothing at all and not feeling guilty about it. I was asleep by 11:30 p.m.
