A week of New Zealanders!

We celebrated Ncik's birthday in October with some ribs at the delicious rib place in Yeonsu followed by some drinks at Mad Max. Nick ended up recieving a 'Gus Train', which is about 8 or so shots lined up that you have to finish within a certain time limit. Let's just say it took Nick a very long time to finish the train. Happy Birthday Nick!

Holly’s parents came to Korea from New Zealand for a brief visit. John and Gail were amazing. I really enjoyed hanging out with them and chatting with them. I took a trip to Everland (Korea’s amusement park) with Holly, Gail and John. John was happy I joined them because he likes the rides and Holly and Gail aren’t the ride type of people. Everland always has a theme during certain times of the year, so because it was October and fall we got to enjoy a Halloween theme. Below are some pictures of our day at Everland. Instead of writing every little detail, enjoy the pictures instead.
Happy Halloween from Everland!!
Holly and I share our love, Korean style.
Then it was time for the family photo. Me, John, Gail and Holly.
Holly's dad, John made some Korean friends.
Can you spot me amongst all the Halloween decorations?!?!
Holly's adorably fabulous parents, Gail and John.
A stage decorated for Halloween and the amazing T-Express roller coaster behind it. John and I chose to ride the T-Express first before it got busy. We didn't have to wait in line, so we rode it twice in a row. Biggest wooden roller coaster in the world.
We were lucky enough to catch the Halloween parade.
One of the theme floats during the parade.
John and Holly rode the bumper cars more than once.
We visited the Everland zoo, which always makes me sad for obvious reasons. See the pictures below for the reasons why.
Since when is it OK to put lion cubs in a tiny glass enclosed container?!?! They are adorable.
Adorable squirrel monkey, looks like he wants to escape.
Holly told me that the wings of these birds have been clipped, so they can't fly away :(
The male tiger was awesome, but again, not the right environment.
The polar bears make me the saddest because first of all, they are suppose to live in cold weather and second of all they look like no one takes care of them.
Seriously, could this orangutan mother and child scene be any more adorable? I think not.
Chimpanzee's are the most closely related to humans by a whopping 95%.
Holly and I enjoyed playing with the awesome glasses in the gift shop.
Holly decided to get her hair done while we were at Everland. I think it suits her. We should have bought those fabulous glasses.
As we were leaving Everland I had to say good-bye to one of my favorite Korean boys, Lee Min-ho. We make a rather cute couple.
When we got back to Incheon we met up with some other friends and enjoyed some dinner with Holly parents before calling it a night.
